This anthology contains of major references to women in the Qur’an and hadiths. Of the collection of hadiths, two stand out as the most satisfactorily definitive those of al-Bukhari and Muslim. There are know as the Sabibain-the Two Sound Collections-meaning that each hadith included has been judged to be authentic in every way, representing as they do a true and clear account of an episode of the Prophet Muhammad’s life
