ระหว่างวันที่ 13 – 16 มกราคม 2568 นายพีระยุทธ เมตปรีชา และนางสาวอุษณีย์ สดศรีประเวศ ตัวแทนจากศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศด้านนวัตกรรมสารสนเทศ (IICE) มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ ได้เข้าติดตั้งและฝึกอบรมการใช้งานระบบห้องสมุดอัตโนมัติ WALAI AutoLib Ultimate ณ ห้องสมุดสหภาพไปรษณีย์เอเชีย-แปซิฟิก (APPU)
ในระหว่างการฝึกอบรม ผู้เข้าร่วมอบรมจะได้เรียนรู้วิธีการติดตั้งระบบ และการปรับใช้ให้เหมาะสมกับความต้องการของห้องสมุดในระดับนานาชาติ รวมถึงการเรียนรู้วิธีการจัดการข้อมูลและการบริการต่างๆ ที่จะช่วยยกระดับการให้บริการห้องสมุด
การฝึกอบรมครั้งนี้ถือเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างศักยภาพทางด้านนวัตกรรมสารสนเทศ และเพิ่มความสามารถในการนำเทคโนโลยีไปใช้งานในห้องสมุดต่างๆ
ทั้งนี้ ศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศด้านนวัตกรรมสารสนเทศ มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ ยังคงมุ่งมั่นในการพัฒนาระบบห้องสมุดอัตโนมัติที่มีคุณภาพ เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้ใช้งานในยุคดิจิทัลอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพต่อไป
From January 13th to 16th, 2025, representatives from the Informatics Innovation Center of Excellence (IICE) at Walailak University were on-site at the Asia-Pacific Postal Union (APPU) Library to install and conduct comprehensive training on the WALAI AutoLib Ultimate automated library system.
This initiative highlights the ongoing collaboration aimed at advancing information technology and innovation within automated library systems. The focus was on the seamless installation and effective utilization of WALAI AutoLib Ultimate, a cutting-edge system developed by the IICE at Walailak University. This system is designed to optimize the management of information resources and facilitate rapid and accurate access to information.
The training program equipped participants with in-depth knowledge of system installation and customization tailored to meet the unique needs of an international library setting. Participants also gained valuable insights into data management and various service strategies to enhance the library’s service capabilities.
This training represents a significant opportunity to enhance expertise in information technology innovation and to promote the adoption of technology in libraries worldwide.
