ตอกย้ำบทบาทผู้นำด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศเพื่อการศึกษา ศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศด้านนวัตกรรมสารสนเทศ มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ ได้ส่งทีมผู้เชี่ยวชาญเข้าดำเนินการติดตั้งและฝึกอบรมระบบห้องสมุดอัตโนมัติ WALAI AutoLib Ultimate ให้แก่สำนักหอสมุดกลาง มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร วิทยาเขตพระราชวังสนามจันทร์ จังหวัด นครปฐม ระหว่างวันที่ 29 กันยายน – 3 ตุลาคม 2568
การดำเนินงานครั้งนี้ถือเป็นการยกระดับโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านสารสนเทศของห้องสมุด โดยครอบคลุมหอสมุดทั้ง 4 แห่ง ได้แก่ หอสมุดวังท่าพระ หอสมุดพระราชวังสนามจันทร์ หอสมุดวิทยาเขตสารสนเทศเพชรบุรี และศูนย์สร้างสรรค์การออกแบบศาสตราจารย์หลวงวิศาลศิลปกรรม เพื่อให้สามารถบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรสารสนเทศได้อย่างเป็นระบบและเชื่อมโยงถึงกัน
ทีมวิทยากรผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ได้แก่ นางสาวนาฏยา แขสวัสดิ์, นายพีระยุทธ เมตปรีชา และ นางสาวพรณภา มฤค ได้ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ พร้อมฝึกปฏิบัติการใช้งานจริงให้แก่บุคลากร เพื่อให้สามารถนำระบบไปใช้ได้อย่างเต็มศักยภาพ
ในขณะเดียวกัน ทีมติดตั้งระบบ ได้แก่ นายเอกพล ปรีชา และ นายสุรเดช เพชรานนท์ ได้ดำเนินการติดตั้งและเตรียมความพร้อมของอุปกรณ์อย่างครบถ้วน เพื่อให้ระบบสามารถเปิดใช้งานได้อย่างราบรื่นและมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด
ระบบ WALAI AutoLib Ultimate ที่นำมาใช้ในครั้งนี้ ไม่เพียงช่วยเพิ่มความสะดวกในการเข้าถึงข้อมูล แต่ยังช่วยยกระดับประสบการณ์การใช้งานห้องสมุดในยุคดิจิทัล ให้ทันสมัย รวดเร็ว และตอบโจทย์การเรียนรู้และการวิจัยในศตวรรษที่ 21 ได้อย่างแท้จริง
ความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์และมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากรในครั้งนี้ นับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญของการพัฒนาระบบห้องสมุดอัจฉริยะ (Smart Library) ที่จะช่วยขับเคลื่อนการศึกษาไทยสู่ยุคดิจิทัลอย่างเต็มรูปแบบ
Reinforcing its role as a leader in educational technology, the Informatics Innovation Center of Excellence (IICE), Walailak University, successfully deployed a team of experts to install and deliver comprehensive training on the WALAI AutoLib Ultimate library automation system at the Central Library of Silpakorn University, Sanam Chandra Palace Campus, Nakhon Pathom, from September 29 to October 3, 2025.
This initiative represents a significant step toward strengthening digital library infrastructure, covering four major libraries: Wang Tha Phra Library, Sanam Chandra Palace Library, Phetchaburi IT Campus Library, and the Professor Visal Silpakorn Creative Design Center. The project aims to create an integrated and efficient information management system across all campuses.
The training team, consisting of Natthaya Khaesawat, Peerayut Metpreecha, and Pornnapa Marueg, provided hands-on training and knowledge transfer to ensure that staff can fully utilize the system’s capabilities.
Meanwhile, the system installation team, including Aekaphon Preecha and Suradet Phetanan, ensured seamless deployment and operational readiness of all equipment and system components.
The implementation of WALAI AutoLib Ultimate will significantly enhance information resource management, offering a more modern, integrated, and user-friendly library experience. It empowers students, faculty, and researchers with faster and more convenient access to knowledge, aligning with the demands of 21st-century learning.
This collaboration marks another milestone in the development of Smart Libraries in Thailand, highlighting a shared commitment between Walailak University and Silpakorn University to drive digital transformation in higher education.
