ศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศด้านนวัตกรรมสารสนเทศ มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ เดินหน้าขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาแหล่งเรียนรู้สู่ยุคดิจิทัล ลงพื้นที่ติดตั้งและจัดฝึกอบรมการใช้งานระบบห้องสมุดอัตโนมัติ WALAI AutoLib Ultimate ให้แก่ องค์การพิพิธภัณฑ์วิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติ จังหวัด ปทุมธานี ระหว่างวันที่ 23–27 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569
ภารกิจในครั้งนี้ครอบคลุมการดูแลทั้ง 2 หน่วยงานสำคัญ ได้แก่ ห้องสมุดและศูนย์บริการข้อมูลวิทยาศาสตร์ พิพิธภัณฑ์วิทยาศาสตร์ และห้องสมุดและจดหมายเหตุ พิพิธภัณฑ์ธรรมชาติวิทยา ซึ่งถือเป็นแหล่งรวบรวมองค์ความรู้ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และธรรมชาติที่สำคัญของประเทศ
การอบรมดำเนินไปอย่างเข้มข้นควบคู่กับบรรยากาศที่เป็นกันเอง โดยมีวิทยากรผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ได้แก่ นางสาวนาฏยา แขสวัสดิ์ และ นางสาวพรณภา มฤค ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ผ่านการฝึกปฏิบัติจริง เพื่อให้บุคลากรสามารถใช้งานระบบได้อย่างมั่นใจ มีประสิทธิภาพ และตอบสนองต่อการให้บริการผู้ใช้ได้อย่างคล่องตัว
การติดตั้งระบบ WALAI AutoLib Ultimate ในครั้งนี้ นับเป็นการยกระดับห้องสมุดและแหล่งเรียนรู้สู่การเป็น “Digital Knowledge Hub” อย่างเต็มรูปแบบ ช่วยให้การจัดการทรัพยากรสารสนเทศมีความเป็นระบบ ค้นหาข้อมูลได้รวดเร็ว และเพิ่มความสะดวกในการเข้าถึงองค์ความรู้สำหรับประชาชน นักเรียน นักศึกษา และนักวิจัย
ความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์และองค์การพิพิธภัณฑ์วิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติในครั้งนี้ ไม่เพียงเป็นการพัฒนาโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านสารสนเทศ แต่ยังเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการยกระดับแหล่งเรียนรู้ของประเทศให้ก้าวทันโลกยุคดิจิทัล และส่งเสริมสังคมแห่งการเรียนรู้อย่างยั่งยืน
The Informatics Innovation Center of Excellence (IICE), Walailak University, continues to drive digital transformation in knowledge institutions by successfully installing and delivering training on the WALAI AutoLib Ultimate system at the National Science Museum, Pathum Thani Province, from February 23–27, 2026.
This initiative covered two key units: the Science Library and Information Center of the Science Museum, and the Library and Archives of the Natural History Museum—both serving as major national hubs for scientific knowledge and learning.
The training sessions were conducted in an intensive yet engaging and friendly environment, led by expert trainers Natthaya Khaesawat and Pornnapa Marueg. The hands-on approach ensured that participants gained practical experience and confidence in utilizing the system effectively.
The implementation of WALAI AutoLib Ultimate marks a significant step toward transforming these libraries into fully integrated digital knowledge hubs. The system enhances information resource management, improves search efficiency, and enables seamless access to knowledge for the public, students, researchers, and science enthusiasts.
This collaboration goes beyond system installation—it represents a major milestone in leveraging information technology to elevate national learning resources, ensuring they remain accessible, modern, and aligned with the demands of the digital era.
