Overview of The Department (CE-DSHS)

The Center of Excellence in Data Science for Health Study (CE-DSHS) mainly focuses on research on the applications of Data Science to health management including the social and the economic aspects that greatly influences to Thai population, as well as disseminating knowledge gained from operations toward public, academician and policymaker to make further improvement and development on quality of life for Thai society. 

Scope of works

      1. Applying DS&AI to develop, improve and support studying health research including social and economic aspects maximally for the greatest efficiency
      2. Preparing and supporting the researches to enhance and resolve issues in the health system
      3. Seeking for funding or budget from external agencies
      4. Expanding the research results toward national and international impact
      5. Building and Developing the potential of national and international research networks

Excellent Achievement

      • CE-DSHS receives external research funding at the very least 2 million baht annually to support research projects.
      • Researchers under CE-DSHS regularly publish original papers of high scientific value in peer-reviewed scientific journals abstracting and indexing in ISI and Scopus.
