This crucial study investigates maternal nutritional status—specifically pre-pregnancy BMI and gestational weight gain (GWG)—and its direct associations with perinatal outcomes. The findings provide critical evidence to support tailored nutritional counseling, continuous weight monitoring, and preventive care strategies for pregnant women to improve maternal and child health outcomes in Thailand.
