RCTP’s academic international webinar 2023 entitled “Current Trends in Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases”

On March 28, 2023, the Research Center in Tropical Pathobiology, Walailak University organized an academic international webinar entitled “Current Trends in Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases,” which was honored by 3 expert speakers, namely: 1) Prof.Dr.Parnpen Viriyavejakul, a specialty doctor in the pathology and pathogenesis of malaria from the Department of Tropical Pathology, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, Thailand; 2) Dr. Aekkachai Tuekprakhon, an immunology researcher from the Institute of Immunology, University of Birmingham, United Kingdom; and 3) Dr.Alia Rahmi Pawestri, a specialty doctor in infectious disease from Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia. In order to advance our understanding of tropical and infectious diseases, the seminar aims to promote knowledge exchange, experience sharing, and research collaboration. Participants came from Thai and international institutions as lecturers, researchers, and students.
