From 14–16 September 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Natticha Sumneang, a researcher at the Center of Excellence in Tropical Pathobiology, Walailak University, participated in a prestigious international conference in Rome, Italy. The conference focused on the use of probiotics, prebiotics, nutraceuticals, and plant-based extracts to promote the health of humans, animals, and the gut microbiota. The event convened researchers, physicians, scientists, and experts worldwide to exchange knowledge and discuss emerging trends in global research.
During the conference, Asst. Prof. Dr. Natticha Sumneang actively participated in research presentation sessions and academic discussions, while also establishing international research networks. These opportunities are expected to make a significant contribution to the advancement of health-related research in Thailand. Insights and experiences from this international engagement will help strengthen ongoing research endeavors.
