On September 22, 2025, representatives from the School of Medicine, Walailak University, together with members of the Center of Excellence in Tropical Pathobiology, were honored to serve as invited speakers at the 4th International Conference on Medical and Health Sciences (4th ICMHS). The event was held in conjunction with the ASEAN Medical Schools Network (ARCF) and the 25th National Conference on Medical and Health Sciences.
The presentation, titled “Exercise, Cardiovascular Inflammation, and Mast Cells: From Experimental Models to Emerging Mechanistic Insights,” highlighted novel findings on the mechanisms of cardiovascular inflammation. It also emphasized the role of physical exercise in mitigating inflammation and influencing structural changes in the heart.
In addition, the delegates were warmly welcomed at the School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Kota Bharu, Kelantan, where they visited research centers and laboratories. This engagement not only fostered academic exchange but also strengthened opportunities for future international research collaboration and the advancement of scientific capacity.
