From April 1–4, 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Prapaporn Chaniad, Head of the Center of Excellence in Tropical Pathobiology, and Associate Professor Dr. Chuchard Punsawad, Dean of the School of Medicine, visited the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ), Indonesia, as Visiting Professors to strengthen research collaboration between the two institutions. They were warmly welcomed by Dr. dr. Feda Anisah Makkiyah, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, and dr. Erna Harfiani, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation, along with faculty members and research teams.
Both parties discussed ongoing research activities and exchanged academic knowledge and experiences, aiming to advance research outputs and international publications. The initiative was supported by the Walailak University International Mobility and Publication Advancement and Collaboration (IMPACT Fund), which seeks to enhance the university’s capacity for international research collaboration.
