Dr.Lafi Munira

Dr. Lafi Munira is an Indonesian public health researcher and postdoctoral fellow at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Indonesia. She earned her PhD and MPH from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, and holds a BPH from Universitas Ahmad Dahlan. Her expertise spans mental health, health behavior, coping strategies, and medical anthropology, with strong methodological skills in qualitative and mixed-methods research. Dr. Munira has published extensively in Scopus-indexed journals on adolescent mental health, suicide, contraceptive use, and anemia prevention. She has also contributed to ethnographic research on healthcare access and traditional medicine in rural Indonesia, authoring multiple ethnographic books. In academia, she has served as a teaching assistant, guest lecturer, and assistant editor, and has received several scholarships and awards for research and academic excellence. Her work bridges research, policy, and community engagement in Southeast Asia.
