Asst. Prof.Dr.Siriluk Veerasakul

My name is Siriluk Veerasakul. I graduated with a PhD from the Medical Science (International Program), Faculty of Medical Science, Naresuan University. I am interested in studying neuromolecules and neurotransmitter changes in various symptoms, such as patients with psychiatric disorders and patients who use drugs. I am also interested in research related to human physiology and occupational diseases, including the application of phytochemicals or health promotion programmes to restore symptoms from exposure to toxic substances that affect the nervous system and restore abnormal symptoms of musculoskeletal and work-related diseases. In addition to the above interests, I am also interested in developing research that is related to the interaction of the hormonal and nervous systems. I am interested in developing a research project on the effects of pollution exposure on neurodegeneration and a research project on the use of plant-based active ingredients to alleviate symptoms of diseases or reduce side effects of treatment. I have expertise in conducting laboratory work in the areas of human and animal models, including Ex vivo, In vivo and In vitro. I can perform laboratory work related to genetic expression regulation, protein mechanisms and expression, bioinformatics, and omics analysis such as proteomics, etc.
