Assoc.Prof.Dr. Chamnong Thanapop
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chamnong Thanapop is a public health expert with over 20 years of experience, currently serving at the Department of Community Public Health, Walailak University, Thailand. He holds a Ph.D. in Epidemiology from Prince of Songkla University and degrees in Industrial Hygiene and Public Health from Mahidol University. His teaching and research focus on epidemiology, occupational health in primary care, and active aging. He has led nationally funded projects on older workers’ health, workplace safety, and community-based health promotion, with over ten publications in journals such as BMC Public Health and IJERPH. He has also played key academic leadership roles and received awards for his outstanding academic service. His work reflects a strong commitment to public health, aging workforce development, and health equity in both academic and community settings.
