Miss.Nitima Nulong
Ms. Nitima Nulong is a lecturer in the Department of Occupational Health and Safety, School of Public Health, Walailak University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Prince of Songkla University and a Master of Science in Production Engineering from the Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS), King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. Her master’s thesis, titled “Investigation of Roundness Tester’s Accuracy and Compensation Algorithm,” was conducted in collaboration with Mahr GmbH, Göttingen, Germany.
Prior to entering academia, she accumulated over 20 years of professional experience in the industrial sector, where she led various improvement projects and supported both governmental and private organizations in implementing and certifying ISO and international standards.
She has now served as a lecturer for five years, teaching and supervising students in subjects such as Laws and Standards, Basic Engineering, Risk Assessment, Psychology and Leadership Development in Occupational Health Safety, and Cooperative Education.
Her current research interests include process improvement through standard management systems, occupational risk assessment, accreditation systems, and community engagement for social development. She is actively seeking opportunities for research collaboration and funding to further expand her work in these areas.
