My name is Awoke Abraham Ako, a public health professional and Ph.D. candidate at Walailak University, Thailand. With a background in human nutrition and extensive field experience across health systems, disease surveillance, and humanitarian response, I have served in various roles—from Head of Primary Health Care Units to Field Officer at the World Food Programme. My research focuses on dual disease burdens, health systems resilience, and health equity across the life course. I have authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in areas such as malnutrition, HIV, and chronic disease. I am passionate about developing innovative, evidence-based solutions for health challenges in resource-limited settings.
