My name is Melaku Yidnekachew Tadesse, a biologist and research associate from Ethiopia with a BSc in Biology from Addis Ababa University. I have over a decade of hands-on experience in infectious disease research, having contributed to major projects such as the Severe Typhoid in Africa (SETA) program with the International Vaccine Institute and multiple meningitis and tuberculosis studies with institutions including the Norwegian Institute of Public Health and the University of Oslo. My expertise spans bacteriology, clinical research, and laboratory diagnostics. I am passionate about advancing public health through collaborative research and evidence-based interventions.
