Walailak University Has been ranked in the world (World University Rankings) by Times Higher Education, which is ranked 1501+ in the world and 11th in Thailand.

Times Higher Education has announced the results of the World University Rankings 2023 through the website https://www.timeshighereducation.com. It was ranked 1501+ in the world out of 26,000 universities worldwide and was ranked 11th in Thailand out of 18 universities that met and were ranked this year.

Previously, Walailak University was ranked by THE Impact Ranking in 2021, ranked 600-800 in the world, ranked 15th in Thailand, ranked by QS Asia University Rankings, ranked 19th in Thailand and Ranked by SCImago, ranked 422nd in the world, 9th in Thailand

Prof.Dr.Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University said that after Walailak University entered the group of frontier research universities in the world (Frontier Research University) according to the policy of the Ministry of Higher Education. Walailak University has developed quality research results. All faculty members have worked together to drive intensive research. In the past 5 years, the number of research works has increased exponentially. Last year there were more than 700 articles.
