    Walailak Research Convention 2023

     

    We would like to welcome you to the Walailak Research Convention 2023 (WRC2023), a hybrid conference, to be held in Walailak University during March 28th–29th, 2023. WRC2023 aims to bring researchers, experts, practitioners and students from around the world together to discuss the trends in research and the latest interesting technologies under the theme, “Higher Education in the Disruptive Era”.

    WRC2023 is organized by the Research and Innovation Institute of Excellence (RIIE), research centers and centers of excellence. The parallel session consists of focused and multi-disciplinary sessions, which will allow for a comprehensive discussion of all the current and future challenges facing higher education in the disruptive era. World-renowned experts contribute to the caliber of this conference through their keynote addresses and panel discussions.

    WRC2023 provides a stimulating forum for early career researchers as well as graduate students to discuss the latest scientific developments with established experts in their fields. It also offers an opportunity to network with other international researchers, exchange knowledge, and to foster collaboration and mobility.

    Walailak University Has been ranked in the world (World University Rankings) by Times Higher Education, which is ranked 1501+ in the world and 11th in Thailand.

    Times Higher Education has announced the results of the World University Rankings 2023 through the website https://www.timeshighereducation.com. It was ranked 1501+ in the world out of 26,000 universities worldwide and was ranked 11th in Thailand out of 18 universities that met and were ranked this year.

    Previously, Walailak University was ranked by THE Impact Ranking in 2021, ranked 600-800 in the world, ranked 15th in Thailand, ranked by QS Asia University Rankings, ranked 19th in Thailand and Ranked by SCImago, ranked 422nd in the world, 9th in Thailand

    Prof.Dr.Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University said that after Walailak University entered the group of frontier research universities in the world (Frontier Research University) according to the policy of the Ministry of Higher Education. Walailak University has developed quality research results. All faculty members have worked together to drive intensive research. In the past 5 years, the number of research works has increased exponentially. Last year there were more than 700 articles.

    Walailak University by project set “Solar energy conversion material technology and energy storage”, supported by the Research Department Fundamental Fund, Walailak University received a Gold Award with a prize money of 70,000 baht.
