ม.วลัยลักษณ์แถลงจัดประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ WRC 2026 พร้อม Walailak Investor Day 2026 ฉลอง 34 ปีแห่งการสถาปนา

มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์จัดแถลงข่าวเตรียมความพร้อมการจัดประชุมวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ Walailak Research Convention 2026 (WRC 2026) ครั้งที่ 5 ควบคู่กับงาน Walailak Investor Day 2026 เนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ 34 ปีแห่งการสถาปนามหาวิทยาลัย โดยกำหนดจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 25–28 มีนาคม 2569 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช
การแถลงข่าวจัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2569 ณ ห้องประชุมเขาหลวง อาคารสหกิจศึกษา โดยมี ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สมบัติ ธำรงธัญวงศ์ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ พร้อมด้วย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ศิวฤทธิ์ พงศกรรังศิลป์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิชิตพันธุ์ รองวงศ์ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันส่งเสริมการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่ความเป็นเลิศ และ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อนุรักษ์ ถุงทอง ผู้อำนวยการอุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี ร่วมแถลงต่อสื่อมวลชน

ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สมบัติ ธำรงธัญวงศ์ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ กล่าวถึงนโยบายการพัฒนามหาวิทยาลัยที่มุ่งเน้นคุณภาพงานวิจัยและการสร้างระบบนิเวศวิจัยที่เข้มแข็ง ส่งผลให้มหาวิทยาลัยมีอันดับที่ดีขึ้นในเวทีโลก ทั้งด้าน THE World University Rankings และ THE Impact Rankings พร้อมทั้งมีผลงานวิจัยระดับนานาชาติเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง
ด้าน รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ศิวฤทธิ์ พงศกรรังศิลป์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม กล่าวเสริมว่า การจัดงานในปีนี้สอดคล้องกับนโยบาย “Reinventing University” และได้รับความร่วมมือจากนักวิจัยและผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากหลายประเทศ เพื่อร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านความยั่งยืนและเทคโนโลยีแห่งอนาคต

ด้าน รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิชิตพันธุ์ รองวงศ์ ผู้อำนวยการสถาบันส่งเสริมการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่ความเป็นเลิศ กล่าวถึงบทบาทของการจัดงาน WRC 2026 ว่า เป็นกลไกสำคัญในการบูรณาการความร่วมมือของศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศ ศูนย์วิจัย และสำนักวิชาภายในมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อยกระดับการจัดประชุมวิชาการสู่มาตรฐานสากล
โดยในปีนี้มีศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศและศูนย์วิจัยเข้าร่วมจัดกิจกรรมจำนวนมาก ครอบคลุมทั้งรูปแบบ International Conference, Symposium และ Special Sessions ซึ่งสะท้อนศักยภาพด้านการวิจัยของมหาวิทยาลัยในหลากหลายสาขา อาทิ เทคโนโลยีการแพทย์ ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ วัสดุนาโน สาธารณสุข และความยั่งยืน
นอกจากนี้ การจัดงานยังมุ่งเน้นการพัฒนา “คุณภาพงานวิจัยสู่ระดับนานาชาติ” ผ่านการเผยแพร่ผลงานวิจัยในเวทีสากล การสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือกับนักวิจัยจากต่างประเทศ และการต่อยอดผลงานวิจัยสู่การใช้ประโยชน์จริง ทั้งในเชิงวิชาการและเชิงพาณิชย์

ขณะเดียวกัน Walailak Investor Day 2026 ซึ่งจัดโดยอุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ ภายใต้แนวคิด
“Synergy of Innovation: Powering Regional Growth”
มุ่งเน้นการเชื่อมโยงนักวิจัย ผู้ประกอบการ นักลงทุน และภาคอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อผลักดันผลงานวิจัยสู่การใช้ประโยชน์เชิงพาณิชย์ โดยภายในงานมีกิจกรรมสำคัญ เช่น การบรรยายพิเศษ การจับคู่ธุรกิจ การเปิดตัวบริษัทสปินออฟ และการจัดแสดงนวัตกรรม
การจัดงานทั้งสองเวทีสะท้อนบทบาทของมหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ในการเป็นศูนย์กลางด้านวิจัยและนวัตกรรม ที่ไม่เพียงสร้างองค์ความรู้ แต่ยังสามารถต่อยอดสู่การพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และความยั่งยืนในระดับภูมิภาคและระดับโลก

Walailak University Announces WRC 2026 and Walailak Investor Day 2026 to Celebrate its 34th Anniversary

Walailak University officially announced its readiness to host the 5th Walailak Research Convention 2026 (WRC 2026) alongside Walailak Investor Day 2026 in celebration of the university’s 34th anniversary. The events will take place from 25–28 March 2026 at Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand.

The press conference was held on 13 March 2026 at Khao Luang Conference Room, Cooperative Education Building, led by Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, together with Associate Professor Dr. Siwarit Pongsakornrungsilp, Vice President for Research and Innovation, Associate Professor Dr. Wichitphan Rongwong, Director of the Institute for Research and Innovation Excellence, and Assistant Professor Dr. Anurak Thungthong, Director of the Science and Technology Park.

Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, emphasized the university’s strong commitment to research excellence and the development of a robust research ecosystem. This has led to significant improvements in global rankings, including the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and THE Impact Rankings, as well as a continuous increase in international research publications.

Associate Prof. Dr. Siwarit Pongsakornrungsilp, Vice President for Research and Innovation, highlighted that the event aligns with the “Reinventing University” initiative, aiming to elevate the university to an internationally recognized research institution. The convention will feature participation from global experts and researchers to exchange knowledge on sustainability and future technologies.

Associate Prof.Dr. Wichitpan Rongwong, Director of the Institute for Research and Innovation Excellence, emphasized that WRC 2026 serves as a key mechanism to integrate collaboration among Centers of Excellence, research centers, and academic schools within the university, aiming to elevate the conference to international standards.

This year, a significant number of centers are actively organizing various academic activities, including international conferences, symposia, and special sessions. These activities highlight the university’s research strengths across multiple disciplines such as medical technology, artificial intelligence, nanomaterials, public health, and sustainability.

Furthermore, the convention focuses on enhancing the quality of research at the international level by promoting global dissemination, fostering international research collaborations, and supporting the translation of research outcomes into practical applications, both academically and commercially.

In parallel, Walailak Investor Day 2026, organized by the Walailak University Science and Technology Park, will be held under the theme:
“Synergy of Innovation: Powering Regional Growth.”
The event is designed to connect researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry partners, promoting the commercialization of research outputs. Key activities include keynote sessions, business matching, spin-off company launches, innovation showcases, and partnership agreements.

Together, these events reflect Walailak University’s role as a leading hub for research and innovation, fostering collaboration that drives economic growth, societal development, and global sustainability.

สถาบันส่งเสริมการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่ความเป็นเลิศ ขอเชิญคณาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ทุกท่านเสนอผลงานเพื่อขอรับการพิจารณา รางวัล จภ.ทองคำ มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ ประจำปี 2568

คุณสมบัติของผู้เสนอขอรับรางวัล

1. ต้องเป็นพนักงานสายวิชาการของมหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ ที่ปฏิบัติงานติดต่อกันมาแล้วในระยะเวลาไม่น้อยกว่า 3 ปี ณ วันที่ยื่นเสนอขอรับรางวัล

2. ผู้เสนอขอรับรางวัลต้องเป็น First Author หรือ Corresponding Author ของผลงาน จำนวน 10 บทความขึ้นไปในระดับควอไทล์ 1 และเป็นผลงานที่มีค่าเปอร์เซ็นไทล์ตั้งแต่ 90 ไม่ต่ำกว่า 5 บทความ

คุณสมบัติของผลงาน

1. เป็นบทความวิชาการประเภท Full length research article หรือ Review article ที่ได้รับการตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่ ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 มกราคม 2568 – 31 ธันวาคม 2568 และปรากฏชื่อของผลงานในฐานข้อมูล Scopus แล้ว

2. ผลงานที่เสนอขอรับรางวัล ต้องดำเนินการในช่วงที่ผู้เสนอขอเป็นพนักงานวิชาการของมหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ ทุกผลงาน และมีการระบุหน่วยงานของผู้เขียนในผลงานเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์สังกัดเดียวเท่านั้น

2. ผลงานที่เสนอขอรับรางวัล ต้องไม่เป็นส่วนใดส่วนหนึ่งของวิทยานิพนธ์ตามหลักสูตรการศึกษาของผู้เสนอขอรางวัล

3. ผลงานที่เสนอขอรับรางวัล ต้องไม่เป็นผลงานที่มี Co-first Author หรือ Co-corresponding Author ไม่ว่าผู้เสนอขออยู่ในสถานะใดในบทความนั้น

ผู้ยื่นขอส่งแบบฟอร์มเสนอขอรับรางวัล จภ. ทองคำ ให้คณะกรรมการสำนักวิชา/วิทยาลัยที่ท่านสังกัดพิจารณาคุณสมบัติเบื้องต้น ก่อนเสนอชื่อมายังสถาบันส่งเสริมการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่ความเป็นเลิศ เพื่อตรวจสอบและรวบรวมรายชื่อเข้าที่ประชุมคณะกรรมการพิจารณารางวัล จภ.ทองคำ ในลำดับถัดไป โดยสามารถส่งผลงานและรายชื่อได้ตั้งแต่บัดนี้จนถึงวันที่ 12 มีนาคม 2569

สถาบันส่งเสริมการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่ความเป็นเลิศ มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ จัดโครงการพัฒนาศักยภาพนักวิจัยด้านการเขียนและการตีพิมพ์บทความวิจัย โมดูล 2: การออกแบบบทความ (Structuring the Paper) เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 20 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 เวลา 09.30–16.00 น. ณ ห้องหัวตะพาน ชั้น 3 อาคารจุฬาภรณเวชวัฒน์ โรงพยาบาลศูนย์การแพทย์ มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ โดย รศ.ดร.วิชิตพันธุ์ รองวงศ์ รักษาการแทนผู้อำนวยการสถาบันส่งเสริมการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่ความเป็นเลิศ ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานกล่าวต้อนรับและเปิดโครงการ

ภายในกิจกรรมมีการเสวนา เรื่อง “จากโครงร่างสู่ต้นฉบับสมบูรณ์: เทคนิคการออกแบบบทความและการเขียน Results & Discussion เพื่อการตีพิมพ์” โดยได้รับเกียรติจากวิทยากรเสวนา 4 ท่าน ได้แก่ 1) รศ.ดร.ณัฐวิทย์ วัฒนสกุลพงศ์ สำนักวิชาวิศวกรรมศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี 2) รศ.ดร.วัชรพงษ์ มิตสุวรรณ วิทยาลัยสัตวแพทยศาสตร์อัครราชกุมารี 3) รศ.ดร.บูดี้ วาลูโย สำนักวิชาพหุภาษาและการศึกษาทั่วไป และ 4) ผศ.ดร.ธนภาษ เดชพาวุฒิกุล สำนักวิชาศิลปศาสตร์ โดยมี รศ.ดร.วิชิตพันธุ์ รองวงศ์ เป็นผู้ดำเนินการเสวนา

นอกจากนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมยังได้รับคำปรึกษาเชิงลึกในการเขียนบทความเพื่อตีพิมพ์จาก Mentor 5 ท่าน แบ่งตามสาขาวิชา ได้แก่ 1) รศ.ดร.ณัฐวิทย์ วัฒนสกุลพงศ์ และ 2) รศ.ดร.ปกรณ์ ดิษฐกิจ สาขาวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี 3) รศ.ดร.วัชรพงษ์ มิตสุวรรณ สาขาวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ 4) รศ.ดร.บูดี้ วาลูโย และ 5) ผศ.ดร.ธนภาษ เดชพาวุฒิกุล สาขาวิชาสังคมศาสตร์ โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมการเสวนาและรับคำปรึกษาจำนวน 39 คน

📢 สถาบันส่งเสริมการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่ความเป็นเลิศ จัดกิจกรรมรับฟังนโยบายจากอธิการบดี แนวทางการสนับสนุนการตีพิมพ์ร่วมกับนักวิชาการต่างประเทศ

เมื่อวันที่ 10 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 สถาบันส่งเสริมการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่ความเป็นเลิศ จัดกิจกรรมรับฟังนโยบายจากอธิการบดี เพื่อผลักดันและสนับสนุนการตีพิมพ์ผลงานวิจัยร่วมกับนักวิชาการต่างประเทศ โดยสอดคล้องกับทิศทางการพัฒนาของ มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ ที่มุ่งสู่การเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยกลุ่มพัฒนาการวิจัยระดับแนวหน้าของโลก

จากผลการจัดอันดับมหาวิทยาลัยโลก ปี 2026 มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์อยู่ในอันดับ 1201–1500 ของโลก และอันดับ 6 ของประเทศไทย โดยมีจุดแข็งโดดเด่นด้าน คุณภาพงานวิจัย (Research Quality) ✨

Guidelines on Supporting International Co-Publication with Overseas Scholars

On 10 February 2026, the Research and Innovation Institute of Excellence organized a briefing to promote and support research publication in collaboration with international scholars. The initiative aligns with Walailak University’s development direction toward becoming a world-class research-intensive university.

According to the 2026 World University Rankings, Walailak University ranked in the 1201–1500 band globally and 6th in Thailand, with a notable strength in Research Quality ✨

The event was honored by distinguished speakers:

🔹 Prof. Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President — delivered the policy address
🔹 Associate Professor Dr. Siwarit Pongsakornrungsilp, Vice President for Research and Innovation — provided guidance and answered questions
🔹 Asst. Prof. Dr. Patnarin Supakorn, Director of the International Affairs Center — presented funding opportunities supporting international co-publication
🔹 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wichitpan Rongwong, Acting Director of the Institute — presented AI tools for identifying research collaborators and publication support strategies

A total of 66 researchers from 13 schools attended the event, reflecting strong engagement and commitment among faculty members to elevate research output to the international stage 🌏

Walailak University Organizes the Human Research Ethics Training Program for Fiscal Year 2026
On Saturday, 31 January 2026, the Institute for Research and Innovation Promotion toward Excellence, in collaboration with the Forum for Ethical Review Committees in Thailand (FERCIT), organized the Human Research Ethics Training Program (Thai-language Course) at Bhattarathamaporn Conference Room, 9th Floor, Building B, Walailak University Medical Center Hospital.

The objective of this training program was to enhance participants’ understanding of the principles and criteria for ethical review of research involving human subjects, including risk and benefit assessment for research participants, the informed consent process, ethical considerations in various types of research, good clinical and research practices, and standard operating procedures of human research ethics committees. The program aimed to improve the quality of academic research and ensure compliance with international standards on human research ethics. The training was attended by more than 120 participants, including faculty members, researchers, students, and university personnel.

The distinguished speakers from the Forum for Ethical Review Committees in Thailand (FERCIT) were as follows:
- Dr. Anothai Phokathikorn (Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University)
- Colonel Associate Professor Dr. Nithipan Suksumegh (Phramongkutklao College of Medicine)
- Colonel Associate Professor Dr. Naiyarat Prasongsuk (Phramongkutklao College of Medicine)
- Assistant Professor Dr. Nithikun Aksorn (Navamindradhiraj University)
On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Wichitpan Rongwong, Acting Director of the Institute for Research and Innovation Promotion toward Excellence, graciously presided over and delivered the opening remarks for the training program.

Following the training, participants were required to complete a post-test and a short satisfaction survey, the results of which will be used to further develop and improve future training programs. Participants who achieved a post-test score of no less than 80 percent were awarded a certificate of completion.

The Institute for Research and Innovation Promotion toward Excellence is committed to supporting faculty members, researchers, students, and personnel in becoming competent, responsible, and ethically grounded researchers, in alignment with international standards of research ethics.

มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ จัดอบรมหลักสูตร จริยธรรมวิจัยในมนุษย์ ประจำปีงบประมาณ 2569
เมื่อวันเสาร์ ที่ 31 มกราคม 2569 สถาบันส่งเสริมการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่ความเป็นเลิศ ร่วมกับชมรมจริยธรรมการวิจัยในคน ในประเทศไทย (FERCIT) ได้จัดอบรม “หลักสูตรอบรมจริยธรรมการวิจัยในมนุษย์ (หลักสูตรภาษาไทย)” ณ ห้องประชุมภัทรธรรมาภรณ์ ชั้น 9 อาคาร B โรงพยาบาลศูนย์การแพทย์มหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ วัตถุประสงค์ของการอบรมในครั้งนี้เพื่อให้ผู้เข้าร่วมอบรม เข้าใจหลักการและเกณฑ์การพิจารณาด้านจริยธรรมการวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับมนุษย์ การประเมินความเสี่ยง และคุณประโยชน์ที่อาสาสมัครในโครงการวิจัยจะได้รับ กระบวนการขอความยินยอมผู้เข้าร่ามการวิจัย ประเด็นพิจารณาด้านจริยธรรมในการวิจัยต่างๆ การปฏิบัติที่ดีในการทำวิจัย วิธีดำเนินงานคณะกรรมการจริยธรรมฯ ที่เป็นมาตรฐานสามารถพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาวิจัย ให้สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานสากลว่าด้วยเรื่องจริยธรรมการวิจัย โดยมี คณาจารย์ นักวิจัย นักศึกษา บุคลากรเข้าร่วมมากกว่า 120 คน

วิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิในครั้งนี้ จากชมรมจริยธรรมการวิจัยในคนแห่งประเทศไทย (FERCIT) ได้แก่

ในการนี้ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร..วิชิตพันธุ์ รองวงศ์ รักษาการแทนผู้อำนวยการสถาบันส่งเสริมการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมสู่ความเป็นเลิศ ได้ให้เกียรติกล่าวเปิดโครงการอบรม

และภายหลังจากการอบรม ผู้เข้าร่วมจะต้องทำแบบทดสอบหลังอบรม (post-test) และแบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจสั้นๆ เพื่อนำไปพัฒนาหลักสูตรในครั้งต่อไป โดยผู้ที่ผ่านเกณฑ์การทดสอบด้วยคะแนนไม่น้อยกว่า 80% จะได้รับใบประกาศนียบัตร
